"Maps of Madness" is a tribute to the eldritch horrors of HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos, drawn as an antique map---perfect for book lovers. Lovecraft's famous quote ("That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die") is featured in the center.
This is an archival print of my original artwork and calligraphy, created on goatskin parchment using India ink and acrylic paint to mimic the look of engraved, hand-tinted antique maps. In the four corners, four monsters represent the four winds: Cthulhu, a Shoggoth, an Elder Thing, and a Mi-Go.
This map print is available in two sizes: 8 x 10 inch print or 11 x 14 inch print. You may choose the print alone, or have it matted in black for no extra charge. *** NOTE: Matting for the 11 x 14 inch print is available to buyers within the United States only, because of size restrictions on international first-class mail. Please do not choose that option if you are outside of the United States. ***
The artwork is professionally printed using an Epson Artisan 1430 with Claria inks on premium luster paper, a combination which has a laboratory-tested lifespan of more than 100 years. Your matted art print is shipped with a protective plastic sleeve in a sturdy cardboard mailer to prevent any damage during shipping.
