Are your items handmade?
Yes, all of our calligraphy artwork, journals, and book jewelry are handmade by Nancy and Matt Hulan, as well as most of our writing supplies.
How are your items shipped to customers?
We ship all orders via the US postal service (USPS). Service options include first-class mail, priority mail, and priority express mail. For our international customers, options include first-class and priority international mail.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, we accept returns for all items that are not customized, personalized, or made to order. Items must be returned to us within 30 days of purchase in new, unused condition and original packing material. Please contact us using the link on the bottom of the page ("Contact Us") to let us know the reason for your return and to obtain the return shipping address. (Because we travel the country, our address changes throughout the year.)
What about customs fees?
Customs fees and taxes imposed by the buyer's country are the responsibility of the buyer. Customers should be aware of any such fees imposed by their country before placing an order, and be prepared to pay them upon delivery. The only taxes on product orders that we collect and pay are US sales taxes, where required.
Do you accept commissions for custom artwork or journals?
Occasionally, particularly in the late winter months when we are working from our studio. Contact us to discuss your project. Bear in mind that the cost of custom calligraphy is far higher than the cost of buying a print.
How do you protect my privacy?

We do not spam your email: You will never receive email unless it is related to your purchase or to answer an inquiry from you, unless you have signed up for our newsletter.
