These goose feathers are ideal for cutting feather quills for reenactment events or special occasions. Three (3) feathers are included, all of which are calligraphy quality with thick barrels.

The feathers average approximately 12-14 inches long and have barrels approximately 1/4 inch in diameter. You will need to cure and cut them for quills yourself. (I find that sand curing followed by a brief dip in boiling water works very well.) The plume color varies from feather to feather, but most are off-white to light gray.
